Labor bag Checklist

I've been planning to prepare my labor bag since last week and until now belum lagi sempat prepare anything for the bag. My list.

Tadaaaa.....My Baby's Crib Bedding Hacker!!

Yeay....I successfully converted the children duvet into a baby's crib bedding!! Btw, I decided not to paint the baby crib because it is not easy for me to find Nippon White pylox spray paint at the hardware shops. I don't want to waste my time to look and find the spray paint as my due date is around the corner. So we just leave the crib with its original color.

Bought 3 nos of I.K.E.A soft toys. 'Penyeri' for my baby cot.

Also bought a preloved Fisher Price hanging cot mobile. Will be selling this back once Aymann reached 6 months of age. =)

A Trip to Langkawi

Hotel where we're staying.. Gosh I forgot already the hotel's name..adoi

Last March 09 , we went to Langkawi for Jalan-Jalan. We never had the chance for honeymoon because I soon found out that I was pregnant after getting married last year. Bunting Pelamin la ni. Hehe.. Tp fate was not on our side when my first pregnancy was miscarried at 3 months. Husband and me were so sad as we're so happy and excited to welcome our lil angel to this world. Only after 6 months from the miscarried, doc then gave us the green light to start 'production' . So this trip is a part of our remedy la to get a baby..hehe.. try to get away from the busy city... take a long holiday and jalan-jalan.

Err...my funny husband buat aksi 'Titanic'' at Telaga Tujuh

On our first day at Langkawi, we went to Telaga Tujuh and The Oriental Village which is the entrance for the cable car ride. We only went to the First Telaga I think.. yg lain tak larat because we don't have appropriate shoes for hiking.

The Oriental Village

Ni Pic after a cable car ride. At the top of Mat Cincang Mountain. Can See the pulau-pulau kecil from here. Nice View and very breathtaking!

Langkawi Sky-Bridge. Ni sepa2 gayat are not advisable to walk around here. Because it is called sky bridge kan, so the bridge is only tergantung because of the cable support attached to a structure. See above pic. If the wind blow harder, you can feel the swing of the bridge.

It started to rain..tu la ada kabus di belakang.

Err..After cable-car ride we went to Dataran Lang. Very near to Pekan Kuah. We did some shopping there. Beli pinggan mangkuk and etc..

The next day we had a visit to Zoo. This pic is really funny. Tgk my husband punya posing takut kena patuk oleh that adorable bird. Haha...

Punyala susah mau ambil gambar burung merak ni. Ini pun nasib kembang. We have to wait for about 20 minutes to snap it!

Jom Makan! We had our lunch at one of the restaurant dekat tgh2 kawasan paya. Aisey..sorry la..ndak igt the restaurant's name. haha..

Then a visit to Makam Mahsuri Village..

Finally terbongkang sorang2 di tepi beach near to our hotel. Besoknya kami pun balek ke kl..and the best outcome of the trip that I found out that I'm pregnant a month after that! Wink..Wink... *_*

BB is Kicking Vigorously!

I'm entering 35 weeks of pregnancy and the BB is kicking actively. Takpa sayang..kick whenever u feel want to! Mama can still handle it...NO PROBLEMO!

Recently I just feel so tired...and feel like to take a rest a lot... My kaki, tangan and muka sembab...Now I just stopped reading a story book to Aymann....I love to read a story of Princess and The Frog to him..Can u believe it? I still do not know why I like the story a lot! Usually will do it before I go to sleep.. Also stopped singing the Twinkle-Twinkle and I Love You song like I used to sing to him..Tersangat la penat..Once suda landing on the bed ..straight away ZZZZzzzzzzzzzz...that's it!

I'm beginning to notice that Aymann loves Twinkle-Twinkle song so much.. I started to let him listen to the song when I was 5 months pregnant... cos this time I think that the BB has already the ability to listen in the womb... So everyday in the morning and afternoon (usually in the office) I will put on the head phone on my tummy and listen to Barney's Collection Songs! I can barely tell that he loves Twinkle-Twinkle song because he will start to kick vigorously whenever the song is aired to the womb! hehe..

After sometime, whenever I feel guilty..ya lah...nanti the BB terlalu excited pula macam BARNEY... I will switch to surah-surah (Yusuf and Luqman) from QURAN...so that the BB will be good and kind hearted like his father.. Err..not like his mother... :P~~ Husband will always remind me not to pamper him so much with Barney's song..because later after he grown-up, he will take over and conquer CARTOON NETWORK & DISNEY channels all to himself (like his other dearly cousins) ... and becoming a cartoon lover... minum susu pun kena tgk cartoon... tidur pun kena tgk cartoon.....he afraid that Aymann will becoming a Cartoon FREAKs and then ending up the father can no longer watch his favourite channel ...haha..funny...

There is another song which I always sing to Aymann the most...It's an Indonesian Children Song , Bintang Kecil...My father used to sing this song when I was a little... I guess he found this adorable song when he did his studies there..

Diapers Bag & Travelling Bag

Errr..been thinking whether to buy these two bags as my Diapers Bag and Baby's Travelling Bag. I know my husband will not agree on this if he looked at the price. Le sport Sac? Errr..I know it kind of a crazy decision.. but I like the design and it can be multipurpose bag..

The disadvantages of buying a dedicated Diapers Bag and Baby's Travelling bag is you can use it for the baby in short period only. I learnt from experienced mother (my friends), mmg sometimes tak guna pun..Guna sekejap aja...after that mmg tak guna... I found one yesterday...but I will definitely guna sekejap aja..even the bag got diapermat..and many useful compartments for the bottle,diapers and etc...

So why not I just buy these cutie bags kan? Boleh pakai lama..and can use for other purpose ... (haha..yalah tu...sebab mamanya mau pinjam pakai pegi jalan2)... itu pasal nk beli...

Maid's Bedroom

Ahaaaa... Don't be surprise that I also need to prepare for my maid's bedroom. Huhu.. My Condo has 4 no of rooms. 3 rooms upstairs and 1 small room at downstair. Hmm..decided to let the maid stays in the small room at downstairs because I want to maintain upstairs area as family private area. She can only come upstairs for housework like cleaning/ironing and etc..

However I feel pity a bit because the maid room is very small... Only can fit bed and wardrobe..Teramatla kecil..will show you how the room looks like after completing furnishing it this week..

The furnishing work will be completed by this week...with help from my husband..hopefully larat la this time... I lagi la tak larat.. Will be buying furnitures from Wescourt nearby my house..single bed only cost me RM 69.00... I don't know about the wardrobe/cupboard..oh..mattress..pillow..wahh..

Looking forward to arrival of my new maid..(cewah...patut kena cakap arrival for my baby...ni maid pulak..telebih sudah aku~!) Many things to do before she' coming..I'm learning a lot of Do's and Don'ts for maid from the internet... Some also doesn't make sense..some also reasonable la... I can't believe that there is one article I read from other blog saying that the employer need to prepare a timetable for her maid.. Hmm...Good idea but is it efficient? I don't know..Some also tell to treat them like familiy member..and some also tell not to..wah..susah... But I believe that when you treat ppl rite..they will treat back the same way how you treat them... KARMA..

I'm excited to have my own maid and at the same time feel scared.. Can you trust a stranger to babysit your lil baby in your absence? Ohh..another question need to think of...takpa2..yg penting beranak dulu okay... =P. Peace!

Is Make-Over part of Nesting Instinct?

Yeah..I think So. Nesting instinct is a frequent occurence throughout pregnancy, and it is a sign that you are about to welcome your baby in to the world!!!

Been developing some signs of nesting instinct, like cleaning everything in sight lightly and preparing all the necessary things related to delivery (i.e baby garments laundry, baby's room and etc..).. Kinda rushing around my house lately, now only I feel like completing the ironing..too bad I'm so lazy now... imagine la it has been two months tak lipat kain...hahah...so right after I angkat kain...I timbun all the kain on a bed in my second bedroom and soon after that the kain pun tinggi membukit sampai my husband call it 'Kedai Bundle'. haha...

Another sign is like reorganizing the cupboards (In progress..but very slow motion sangat la due to back pain), packing and repacking labor bag (err... not yet), cleaning every room in the house (plan to do this coming weekend..if larat la..or just wait my new maid to clean it up for me ka? gila pemalas si kuming ni..haha..see how..) , joining new activities that I was previously uninterested in (Errr...lately macam teringin sangat nak buat pedicure and manicure..pastu rasa nk have a new hair cut...errr..and nk pegi massage .This is I was curious about..suddenly the mood of nk bercantik-cantik is coming..wah..all of this while mmg I dont have the mood..even I hate to look at myself in the mirror!

I want to cut my hair short.. Feel so rimas with long hair.. short hair will look better on me..later easier for the confinement lady to hilangkan all the bekas-bekas hitam around my neck..hopefully the hitam-hitam thingy will disappear after delivery (the blackish around the neck is common during pregnancy..not only around the neck..can be somewhere else..ahaha) Thank God the worst blackish I'm having is around the neck... It looks like sangat berdaki..huhu

After that is to do my manicure and pedicure..haha..I have never done this before tapi teringin sangat nk give it a try.. In fact I couldn't potong my kuku kaki anymore..tangan tak sampai because belly is getting bigger and bigger... Husband pulak scared too death nak potong kan cos takut tepotong isi kuku.. =P

For the most part, nesting instincy is a completely enjoyable. As long as you are happy and enjoying what you are doing and not pushing yourself too hard. One more thing is to take frequent rest breaks like me and let my husband do all the thingy..I love being pregnant!!

Woohoo...!!I'm 34 weeks pregnant..6 weeks to go...Yeayyy!!!

A Peek to My Delivery Preparations...

I did laundry for my lil one...

Just bought a few delivery blankets..can be used as blanket as well. Expert says that thermal blanket /thick blanket or duvet not suitable for newborn which will may suffocating the lil one..

I call it Aymann's Kit... Mama already prepared you Minyak Yu-Yeee Cap Limau, your comb, nail clipper, baby powder and diaper rashes cream... Senang..and mudah..simpan satu tempat..easy to carry for parents who do a lot of travels.... i.e: Mok Tok Hse (Kota Bharu) and Tok Mama Hse (Kota Kinabalu) .. I don't know what to call my MOM because this is her first grandchildren for my family side.. Nenek? (cam tua sangat la pulak cos my nenek still hidup lagi..takut confuse).. Better call Tok Mama la kan.. takde la bunyi tua sangat..ahaha..


Just to let u know, I wanna keep this kit as a tradition as my SIL is also having this kit for her childrens sampai la anak yg ketiga..which is so cute seeing them with their lil kit!

My Baby Hiccups So Much In the Womb

I am suprised to learn that my baby has the hiccup! Yup. That is right. Many babies have their hiccups while they are in the womb and some of the babies have the hiccups multiple times a day.

So I've been experiencing like a series of rhythimic movements (continuous kicks) that last from 3-30 minutes and I was getting so worried because he has them so often. Soon I also find that after I eat, drink and move around is when the baby will always get the hiccups! Err.... sorry sayang..

I did a research and actually hiccupping is good sign of a health baby and it is normal. Because only mature fetuses will hiccup, as hiccup will rely on the development of the central nervous system. Which means good! Ahaaa!

It is such a weird but cute feeling..Can't wait to see him ACTUALLY hiccupping! Being a first time mom is an amazing thrill. Good Luck to all moms out there.
